What is this position about?

We’re looking for creative, motivated, and enthusiastic senior software engineers 👩‍💻👨‍💻. You would be part of the Quansa engineering team, solving real problems for our users and making Quansa the best tool for financial health in the world.

We work super close to our product team. In fact, we all feel like product engineers (if that is a thing). This means that we try to keep ourselves as close to our end users as possible, so it wouldn't be a surprise if you found yourself answering and helping them through our platform on a monthly basis. With this in mind, we work in one-week sprints, doing releases periodically to test our hypothesis as fast as we can.

This position is remote-first, meaning that you will be working from wherever you like, most of the time. But good news 🤩, we get together (the whole team) a few times a year to work closely and to have everyone on the same page. Currently, we have an office in Pinheiros, São Paulo, and Santiago, Chile, so you can have a comfortable space to work and build with the team.

What we expect from you

• You like to solve problems, thinking about tradeoffs of different solutions, managing technical debt and leading the team how to move forward ⚙️
• You are concerned about system quality (scalable, maintainable, secure) and you are able to bring improvements to the table 🔧
• You are able to manage complexity in an organized way and communicate with the team about your projects and blockers 👥
• You don’t mind wearing different hats to solve problems. It is not always all about frontend or backend, sometimes we have to talk to providers to get things done, but we enjoy it 🙂
• You want to work with technologies like JS, Typescript, React, Node & Flutter 👾
• You want to talk in English on a daily basis.  You need to be able to express your thoughts and be willing to improve every day 🇺🇸 🙂
